You’d have to practically be living under a rock for the past year, not to have heard anything about artificial intelligence (AI). It seems to be everywhere.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is producing some excellent tools which can aid in marketing. There’s a lot of overhyped stuff, and the tools are still developing and getting better, but there are some pretty great tools right now.
Image AI
I’ve used several services where you write in text and it generates an image. I’ve gotten generally good results although sometimes it doesn’t seem to understand what you are saying. Here are a few images I’ve generated with AI, for various client projects I’ve been working on.
Headshots: Another use of image AI is to generate new headshots for a person. You feed several headshots into the system and it generates a bunch of new ones, in different styles, clothing, etc. I did this for myself and here are a couple of the images generated.
Video AI
I’ve been looking for a tool that generates video content based on a script that you input into it. The idea is to speed up creating sales videos, as they can be very time intensive to make. I found one a couple months ago that was pretty poor, but I’ve found a couple lately that do a pretty good job, where you have to make minor adjustments to get a really good product.
SEO AI
As I mentioned in a previous article, I am using a tool called surferseo.com, which allows you to improve or create text for a webpage that is likely to rank well for specific keywords on search engines. The tool can write text from scratch for you, but I mostly use it to check text that is already there. It will rank the text on a 1-100 scale as to how well it will rank for the selected keywords. Then it has an auto-optimize button which improves the text and makes it likely to rank higher.
I’ve been using this tool for several months for my own site and for several client websites. It has been improving the scene. By that I mean that I check a list of keywords each month and see how high the site is ranking for all those keywords on Google, Yahoo and Bing. And we are seeing improved rankings across the boards.
